Rwandan micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are showcasing Made in Rwanda products and exploring new business opportunities at the 61st edition of the Maputo International Trade Fair (FACIM), taking place from 31 August to 6 September 2026 in Marracuene, Maputo Province, Mozambique.

Rwanda is participating in FACIM at the invitation of the Government of Mozambique, providing local businesses with an opportunity to access the Southern African market, engage potential buyers and partners, and explore opportunities for export and business expansion.

Eight Rwandan MSMEs are exhibiting at the trade fair, with five from the leather value chain, two from beauty and cosmetics, and one from food processing. The strong representation of the leather sector highlights the growing potential of Rwandan leather and leather products for regional and international markets.

Through their participation, the MSMEs are showcasing a range of locally made products while engaging in business-to-business (B2B) meetings and networking with businesses and other stakeholders from across the region. These engagements are expected to create opportunities for market linkages, partnerships and increased visibility of Made in Rwanda products.

FACIM is Mozambique's largest annual multisectoral trade and business fair and serves as a platform for showcasing products, promoting exports and investment, and facilitating business partnerships.
