SPIU- Project portfolio

The establishment of a Single Project Implementation Unit (SPIU) in Ministry of Trade and Industry (MINICOM) stemmed out of the desire by the Government of Rwanda (GoR) to improve coordination in project implementation processes across Ministries and other Government agencies. A cabinet paper to guide the process was tabled and approved on 11th February 2011.

Kigali 23 August 2022- This morning, His Excellency Ron Adam, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Rwanda paid a courtesy call to Honorable Dr Jean-Chrysostome Ngabitsinze. The Minister thanked the Ambassador for his vote of confidence in his new capacities as well as the Embassy’s continued support on various initiatives across the sector.

The Embassy and Ministry teams discussed on areas of cooperation such as capacity building and skill-sharing, import and export initiatives, Small and Medium Enterprises development,  and much more.
